	Site An original "Kress" building, designed for the S.H. Kress & Co. mercantile chain in historic downtown Lakeland.
	Program Restore exterior and rehabilitate interior from offices into an interactive museum for children.
	Solution Restoration work included cleaning, re-sealing & repairing the terra cotta exterior and the original stamped bronze store-front.  Interior renovations included removal of a contemporary mezzanine level, wedged midway up the original 20' high first floor.  All environmental systems were updated to meet ADA and other code requirements.
