Ross Norton Presentation Board
Site An existing community park within an established neighborhood and greater metropolitan area.
 

Program To master plan the park, utilizing a program based on the "magnet" concept of facility planning. This park has been designated an "extreme sports" facility that will require several new facilities and the renovation of an existing swimming pool.

 
 

Solution Design included a  skate park, climbing wall, boxing facilities, a 18,700 square foot in-line outdoor hockey rink, a 10,000 square foot gymnasium, fitness rooms, teen center and a 4,000 multi-purpose room.

Award Lunz Prebor Fowler Architects was awarded an Honor Award of Architecture from the Tampa Bay Chapter of the American Institute of Architects for its design of the extreme sports facility.
