Lakeland, Florida

house prior to the move

Site A 1920's bungalow located on a  former 20 acre nature preserve,  which was subdivided and consequently necessitated the structure's move (see adjacent image).
house during move
Program First move, then rehabilitate the charming residence for family and entertaining guests.  Issues involved installing air conditioning, refinishing old Florida pine floors and pecky cypress ceilings.
house at new location
Solution A new copper roof in the same diamond pattern as the original and a thorough cleaning  and sealing of the coral exterior made the house watertight.  The interior wood paneled walls and ceilings were refinished and the bathrooms re-fitted with new period-styled fixtures.
