With funding from the Low Income Housing Tax Credit, The Lunz Group created affordable homes in a neighborhood where land values had risen far beyond the typical single-family budget.

The Lunz Group designed Palm Gardens to align Lake Worth’s public and private interests with high quality housing below the market rate. 

To accommodate for different income brackets and family sizes, 20 separate 2-story buildings were populated with 80 units, using 3 different floor plans to accommodate various needs.

The site layout was created to promote a pedestrian-friendly experience with open porches, long sidewalks, convenient transit stops, and green landscaping to help integrate the property into the community. The site layout emphasized centralized amenities to make room for a denser unit count, focusing more on maximizing leasable space for the client. In the end, The Lunz Group successfully designed a site that benefited residents, met RRLP guidelines for assisted funding, and is currently flourishing in the Lake Worth area.
